On which substrates can SiliciO2 be applied?
SiliciO2 adheres to almost all substrates such as concrete, screed, metal, and wood. If necessary, a separate substrate pre-treatment is required. Please read the instructions on the respective technical data sheets. Our experts will be happy to provide you with an individual assessment.
Can I apply it myself?
If you are a skilled craftsman and have already gained experience in floor installation, this is possible. It is strongly recommended to strictly follow the mixing and processing instructions. Please read the relevant. technical data sheets carefully.
When can the surface be walked on?
The surface can be walked on within 4 to 6 hours. The surface can be fully loaded after 4 days.
Does the substrate need to be prepared / processed?
The substrate must be ready for laying, that is, dry, clean, load bearing and tension resistant. In the case of new screed or concrete surfaces, preparation may not be necessary. Our experts will be happy to provide you with an individual assessment.
What are the costs?
The costs are comparable to existing flooring systems. Costs vary depending on individual floor requirements, standard or special industrial floor coating for the highest loads.
